A history major at Mary Washington, Dr. Marylouise Meder ’47 went on to obtain a master’s degree in library science, an M.A. in history, and a Ph.D. in library science. Dr. Meder was active with the Daughters of the American Revolution and the American Association of University Women. She established a scholarship in 2000. Dr. Meder died in 2008. Mr. Ronald St. Jean, Dr. Meder's brother-in-law, serves as the family representative.
